The Joven line from Mezcal Casa Don Ramón is an expression of significant presence and tradition that aims to bring the best of Mexico to the world. Unlike many Mexican beverages, mezcal has become a symbol of our beautiful agave tradition and culture, representing a faithful reflection of the pride we feel for our legacy and its connection to this country’s past and present.
To achieve this, our two main products are crafted through a series of detailed and careful steps originating from the extraction of each product’s plant: Salmiana agave for our homonymous product, and espadín agave for the mezcal with the same name. Each element, as well as the gifts from the land where they originate, give body and essence to the two variants.
Subsequently, the Joven line continues with a series of processes ranging from the meticulous selection of agaves, aged 8 to 10 years, to the addition of a double distillation in the alembic. All of this gives life to a subtly composed range with colorless but highly present tones and smoky, citrusy, floral, and meaty aromas.
Casa Don Ramón’s Joven range preserves smoky, herbal, and fruity notes that delicately adhere to the palate and extend throughout the body. If all this were not enough, the spectacular nature of this line is preserved in bottles carefully crafted by local artisans, who imprint all their talent through charred finishes and relief screen printing.
